Reference Service

Reference Services offered by the Central Library supports the vision and mission by providing print and electronic access to resources necessary for teaching, learning, research, and innovation of faculty, students, and staff of University engages in scholarly pursuits. Users can get the answer about different kinds of reference information resources and services available related to specific subjects/disciplines. Users can take the assistance of professional staff to identify the most appropriate resources for their teaching and research.

The reference section assists users mainly:

  • Using the library resources, including locating materials, searching the online library catalog, using computers to access online resources, competitive and career related assistance, using basic reference sources, and more.
  • Assistin identifying library materials such as encyclopedias, almanacs, dictionaries, special collections, competitive books, and more. needed to answer a question.
  • Guide users to maximum utilization of information resources for both print and online resources.
