Dr Deepak Sharma, a gold medalist alumni of prestigious Hindu College, Delhi has been a faculty in the Department of Political Science, Sri Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa College, University of Delhi for last twenty eight years. He has contributed a number of research papers in edited volumes besides authoring a book on Administrative Thought of Herbert Simon. He has done extensive research in the field of public administration. To his credit go, two major research projects namely, Promoting Good governance through Information Technology: A Study of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Delhi, and Motivation and Performance in Administration: A study of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation sponsored and financed by University Grants Commission, New Delhi. He has participated in a number of conferences held in Canada, Hong Kong, and parts of India. He has been a Resource Person on issues related to quality assurance and accreditation in HEIs.
