The Central Library acquires, preserves, and provides access to materials in digital formats that are essential to the teaching, learning, research and innovation of Tripura University. The Library supports the academic fraternity by hosting Institutional Digital Repository (IDR), an open access platform for collecting, preserving, and providing online access to research and teaching materials created by the University community. Digital Repository serves as a platform for faculty members, researcher scholars, students and staff members to share their scholarly work with the wider community.
Digital Repository represented and hosted a wide variety of scholarly content such as journal articles, conference papers, book chapters, theses, dissertations, annual reports, old question papers, and other scholarly content developed by the Tripura University community.
At present, the Digital Repository (IDR@TU) is accessible on the Intranet only.
