Brief Profile of the Department

The School of Education of Tripura University (A Central University), has started its journey on September, 2018 with 4 Years Integrated B.A. B.Ed./ B. Sc. B.Ed. Program with the purpose of preparing a dedicated crew of committed teachers for the country. In the Year 2019 it has also introduced Two Years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Program by keeping in view the growing demand of teacher education these days. The curriculum has been designed and developed in semester pattern as per the recommendations as envisaged in the NCFTE-2009, NCF-2005 and NCTE-2014. All the educational experiences are designed to develop competence to face the placement arena and to get through competitive examinations. A good number of our students have successfully cracked CTETand T-TET in the foregone sessions. Inspite of being a new department, some of the passed out students are placed in-service in various reputed educational institutions. Further, the School of Education is vibrant in organizing various extension activities like community service, and school visits as a part of the B.Ed. curriculum. School of Education welcomes the students from Tripura as well as from the rest of India.

The School of Education was established with the commitment to meet the scarcity of teachers that regularly surface in the educational scenario. It targets moulding human capital through cutting-edge educational methodologies and pedagogies. The School of Education, in its endeavour, will equip 'to be' teachers with the potential to preserve their cultural heritage and incorporate required changes for innovation.

OBJECTIVES

The objectives of the School of Education are

  • They can apply for Any position which requires graduation as eligibility
