DEPARTMENT HEADBrief Profile of the Department
The department of Hindi was established in the year 2006 under the 10th plan with the appointment of one Lecturer subsequently the University Grant Commission has sanctioned three teaching position as Lecturer, Reader & Professor each under 11th plan. In year 2009 two faculty members (Lecturer & Reader) has been appionted. Initialily the University authority had decided to start PG Diploma in Hindi & accordingly the syllabus of the same was also prepared and approved by the Acedemic Council. Keeping in view of the future job prospect the visionary authority of the University had decided to start the Master Degree Programme. In year 2010 the present visionary & dinamic Vice Chancellor has taken a dicision to start B.A (Hons.) Programme in the University from academic year 201-2011 and accordingly B.A (Hons.) in Hindi has also started which will give the solution to increase the intake of the PG programme.
