The IMD Programme is offered in the following subjects : English, Bengali, Hindi, History, Political Science, Philosophy, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics. Core Subject : Any one of the following subjects may be chosen as core subject: English, Bengali, Hindi, Economics, History, Political Science, Philosophy, Mathematics*, Statistics*, (*Subject to approval by the academic Council) In addition to the Core Subject, students are required to do Compulsory English, Alt. English / MIL*, Fundamental of Computers, Foundation Course, Environmental Studies and Projects (Group Activity) MIL: To choose one from Bengali, Hindi, Sanskrit
