PROFILE

The Department of Archaeology and Ancient Indian Culture is one of the newest departments of the University. It is opened with the vision that it will contribute in due course to unearth hitherto unknown archaeological resources in the state of Tripura and North East India and make substantial contribution in reconstructing the ancient history of the region which is still under explored.
