Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)

In pursuance of the notification of the UGC. F.No.20-1/2009(IUC), its Action Plan for performance evaluation, assessment and accreditation andquality up-gradation of institutions of higher education, the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Tripura University established the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). The IQAC committee is constituted with the Director, IQAC as the member secretary following the guidelines of the National Assessment andAccreditation Council (NAAC), Bangalore.Thequality enhancement of the Tripura Universityand Higher Education Institutes (HEI) affiliated to the Tripura Universityis a continuous process, so the IQAC will become a part of the Tripura University’ssystem and work towards realization of the goals of quality enhancement and sustenance. The prime task of the IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalyticimprovement in the overall performance of institutions.

For this, the IQAC,Tripura University channelize its efforts and measures towards promoting the holisticacademic excellence including the peer committee recommendations.The feedback format for the students has been collected and analyzed by IQAC, Tripura University. The Annual Performance Appraisal Report (APAR) for the faculties has been implemented. Different feedback formats for the stakeholders have been implemented.
