Post Graduate Diploma in Translation (Hindi)

Brief Profile of the Centre:

Post Graduate Diploma in Translation (Hindi) is a two semester programme running under the Department of Hindi which aims to teach Translation from English to Hindi and vice-versa. As we all know, Translation is a major professional area in our country and plays an important role in our understanding of the diversity of Indian culture and society. Post Graduate Diploma in Translation is designed to develop the translation skills of the learners. Besides imparting the knowledge of the theory and practice of translation, it will help the students to understand the socio-cultural dimensions and professional areas of translation. Theprogramme consists of eight papers, each of 04 credits.
