Brief Profile of the Department

The department is established in 2012 with an aim to teach student at M.Sc. level and to actively engage in research and development in the areas of modern biology relevant to the region for economic upliftment. To combine expertise in molecular biology and bioinformatics at master’s level will result preparedness of the young minds in both these areas to tackle problems at both basic and application oriented programme.
