Computer Centre

A Computer Centre was established in 1992 to facilitate a common computational resource centre for the academic programmes as well as for maintenance of the other computing resources in the Tripura university. Over the years the University has grown substantially in terms of departments and academic programmes as well as in infrastructure. The computer centre has implemented a campus LAN with optical fiber backbone connecting the academic as well as administrative departments spread over the the University campus. Internet connectivity is provided throughout the campus. The computer centre maintains about 40 PCs and one Central Server Room. It also coordinates other computing works like students registration,result publication work.It also conducts workshop on computers and Information technology.In the Computer practical classes are held for some of the Departments. Registration of Laptop of Teachers, Officers, Staff, Research Schollars and Students of Tripura University for Wi-Fi connectivity is done in Computer Center. Personal Internet user Id registration of Teachers, Officers, Staff, Research Schollars and Students of Tripura University to access Internet facility of Tripura University is done in Computer Center.

Teachers,Research Scholars and Students who have difficulties in accessing computers due to lack of sufficient computers in their respective department can use Computers and Internet facilities in computer centers set up in the following building.

• Library Building, ground floor and 1st floor
• Academic building 2,2nd floor
• Academic building 10,1st floor
• Academic building 11, A block,1st floor
